I would like to see a full-fledged node for viewing the personal nodelet.
bookmarks : personal nodelet :: Message Inbox : Chatterbox
The idea being that
  • users may not access their bookmarked nodes often
  • save the server by not displaying the bookmarked nodes titles (many are long) on every page visited

    perl -pe "s/\b;([st])/'\1/mg"

    Replies are listed 'Best First'.

Personally, thats what I use the scratchpad for.... My personal nodelet only has a couple links in it, with one called 'My Scratchpad'. My scratchpad then contains the list of bookmarks that I used to have on my personal nodelet. This allows me to keep a 'favorite nodes' list w/o having it show up on every page I visit.

In regards to long times, you can easily rename the node title if you add the link on your user settings page; just use the [id://999999|name] markup that you use in normal node markup.

Updateforward slashes, not backwards-- too much time in DOS, help! :-)

It's not what you know, but knowing how to find it if you don't know that's important

        just nitpicking:
        [id://999999|name]
or the link generated goes to search :-)
