does anyone else think it would be a good idea to let registered users comment on each other's home nodes?

for me, checking out other user's home nodes is one of the most interesting parts of visiting the site, and i would like to have the opportunity to comment on some of the cool stuff people have done with their home nodes.

or perhaps this is just asking for trouble? i would hate to see this feature become available just to have it be abused by having unruly anonymous monks or troll accounts telling people that they're idiots or that their picture's ugly, or whatever. letting node owners delete other people's comments from their node could side-step that potential problem.

Unfortunately, having people remark on others' photogenics (or lack thereof) is what would happen if you had some 'area' to post home node remarks. If something about someone's home node strikes you as just having to comment, you can always leave that person a message with the chatterbox.

Although the ability to remark on home nodes does seem like an attractive nuissance best to be avoided, I agree that seeing what folks do with their home nodes is always pretty interesting-- which is to say, i fyou haven't done a little home node decoration, you'd best snap to it. (on a related note, I'm only, like, 50 points away from getting my monkey picture back. Suffice to say I'm pysched, people.)
