I was just looking through Q&A when I realized that there are a couple sections that should be there (at least in my opinion.)

They are:
'Perl 6'
and
'Modules and Packages' (Questions on how to write a module, how to create a makefile etc.)

I know a lot of those questions are answered in other various places, but I think it would be helpful to a lot of people to have them available all in once place.

From what I've heard it sounds like Perl 6 won't be released for at least another year (please reply if you know otherwise), so a Perl 6 section does sound a bit premature as crazyinsomniac says. It's also questionable whether it would ever be necessary, I don't see separate Perl 4 and 5 sections around anywhere ;).

A module section sounds like a great idea though. Personally about 80% of the time I spend learning perlish things is spent reading up on different modules. I've found some reviews of modules I'm considering using here, but a lot of them were written almost 2 years ago and could probably use an update. It would also be nice if they were all located in the same area for easy browsing.

While questions on specific modules weren't really why I suggested it, I suppose it's also an option.

I intended the section to be used for discussing how to write modules, etc.

Example Question: How do I create a PPM module?

As for Perl6, as I said earlier, that was added as an afterthought because I didn't feel right making only one suggestion. Although it is my understanding that it will be dramatically different (considering the changes to things like the '.' operator, it might be a good idea to have it available.) Though perhaps having it now would be a bit premature...

To tell the truth, the perl 6 one was an afterthought, I just didn't feel right posting with only the one catagory. :)
