Well, $0 only holds a relative path. For the full path, you should use FindBin's $Bin and $Script.

Full disclosure: FindBin is broken (RE: How do I get the full path to the script executing?) To find the full path, I'd use File::Spec along with $0 or __FILE__ (which often already hold a full path). - tye (but my friends call me "Tye")	[reply]
