If perlcc can't compile anything, are you sure you've got the compilation tools it's trying to use? Look at 'perl -V's output.

Also, it seems unlikely that your ISP wants you to compile your perl scripts. Are you sure that they don't just want you to set the executable permissions?

    Many ISPs still don't provide Perl on their servers. (Believe it or not.) By compiling your Perl application into a .exe file, it can be executed 'just like any application'.
