Your core file is simply an image of your computer's memory when the crash happened. You can delete it or look at it using the strings command.

...or look at it using the strings command. Or even more fun you can examine it using `gdb` or whatever debugger you have to hand. You might even find out what cause it to crash like that ;-} /J\	[reply] [d/l]
