I'm a novice in perl, after having been fairly proficient in C/C++ and Pascal. I'm rather interested in perl, and think that it's a great language, from what I've seen thus far.

I'm currently 20, with wife and kids (1 mine, 2 hers), living in St. Louis, MO, USA, and working as a sales representative for Cingular (you know, the annoying guy at the store that tries to get you to buy a phone?). I'm currently coding in FreeBSD, Win ME native (really not my choice) and Cygwin. Of course, I spend much time in FreeBSD, and only use windows when playing a game or two or when someone else in my family needs to use my computer (sheesh, you try teaching them blackbox, and they freak...).
