Sorry for the delay, I was on vacation the last couple of weeks. I'll post an article on the driver as soon as I can. As for duplicating my setup with the cash register, I'd be happy to see it used by others, but I doubt you'll be able to get hold of the same model of cash register that I use, since it's manufactured only in Romania by some obscure company that doesn't even have an export licence. But I think the driver could still be usable with some modifications with any cash register that has a serial interface.
