    I thought this was very clever! I know the feeling that inspired it. ++ for creativity.

    btw, does it need a semi-colon at the end?

      Thanks to both of your for the comments ... on my linux machine it doesn't ... perl -wc emits lots of warnings about this one, but it compiles. ASCII art is an easy way to get text that otherwise wouldn't compile with perl to do so ;).
