Hasn't been done yet but I'm working on getting every computer on the network in my school to play the same song at the same time. Maybe someday I'll get off my ass and actually do it. I'm thinking I'm saving it for April 1 senior year (a year from now.... that's senior prank day, and what a good one that would be =)

    I'm sorry,
    April 1, 2000 falls on a Saturday.
    April 1, 2001 falls on a Sunday.

I wasn't sure which year your intentions alluded to.

So, plan your prank wisely or no one will be at school to here it.

Sounds like a good one. If the computers are running Unix, you're in luck; most Unixes leave /dev/audio world-writable. All you have to do is to log on as a regular user and activate some sound program to play the file. In fact, you can even cat .au files straight to /dev/audio. Have fun...
