Re: POD documentation in PDF format

I'm curious to what degree is your process automated? Not only the preparation of the PDF files themselves, but also the detection of updates/changes in the docs?

automated detection equals to zero. (not a goal of a project) but what we can say about updates/changes of docs? I see them everyday in perl5-porters@perl.org and sometimes (quite rarely) propose some changes by myself (will spot exact places if you're interested in this). But. I suppose to have xxx.pdf file for a particular release, not just abstract documentation snapshot.	[reply]

about automation in other areas that I've forgot to mention in my previous reply: there are files located as "src" release which contain 'full' automation: single run of a script allows you to generate desired file without manual post-editing and almost get a final result to you (-almost- because of a step of distillation, i.e. PS==>PDF conversion) Vadim.
