Perl Monks BOF at YAPC::NA?

My apologies if this post is in the wrong place. It seemed that Meditations was the least wrong place for it.

Since I had such a great time at that last two YAPC::NA get-togethers, I'm curious to find out who else will be going to this year's bash, and whether we can have a BOF while we're there. (Putting faces to names -- scary idea!)

It's fairly certain that I'll be driving to St. Louis from Toronto and may have a space (or even two) in my car .. but give me a day or two to finalize my plans.

I intend on going also. I've only been to last year's YAPC, and I had a great time there. I'd certainly be interested in a BOF -- we did have one last year on Friday, but it wasn't anything formal.. we basically all went out to eat at a neat Vietnamese restaurant. For those looking to attend this year -- be sure to make your hotel reservations soon. The week after YAPC is the 4rth of July, and hotels are filling up quickly. I'll be staying in the Holiday Inn, and as of a week ago, they still had room. Hope to see you there! -Eric	[reply]

Don't you mean maybe a Perl Monks BOF? I mean, a perl BOF itself would be a nice change from all the perl at the conference, but it seems a little open-ended... ;-P Update: Ah, you fixed it. You're no fun. :)	[reply]

I'll be going to St. Louis this year to attend my very first YAPC. Actually, this will be my first Perl conference of any kind. I'm pretty psyched and I'd be really into meeting some of the other monks that might be attending. More importantly though, what's a BOF? ;0) Amel	[reply]

In my experience in the IT and beer drinking world, BOF stands for Boring Old Fart. This is also not to be confused with BOFH, the Bastard Operator From Hell.	[reply]
