costas has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have been programming in perl now for about 2 years and now am about to move over to mod_perl.

I want to know if there is any difference in the way a perl script must be written for a regular perl interpretor as opposed to modperl.

Also i want to know if my older scripts will work under modperl and if not why this is?

Thankyou in advance

I also recommend modperl.com: that book is really good and there are some chapters and examples available online.
