Dear Brother I need some help. The Problem is my boss requires a list of all drives on a given server (that is easy), however he also would like to know the users access levels (permission) for each folder (and sub folders)on that server Many thanks in Advance to all who will save my life.

    For a perl solution to your problem, you need to take a look at Win32::FileSecurity. If you use File::Find to recursively descend directory paths, call the Get function to obtain permissions, this should do the trick.

      Many Thanks to all my brothers and Gob blesses you all. Is there a quick examples on Win32::Perms please? If I create a folder in drive C:\ and call it something like folder_A and permission only the user Jack as Full access and the user Jill as No access. Can I have an output similar to the below Drive Perm Type C:\Folder_A Jack Full C:\Folder_A Jill No Access Your interventions are highly appreciated indeed
