hi. this is all rather confusing for me but i'll try and explain the best i can. i have a program that will, every hour, check an ftp site and upload to an ftp site. i also have a separate program which acts as a file server. on the ftp side the incoming ftp subroutine runs first and when thats finished it runs the outgoing ftp subroutine. what i would like to do is have them all running at the same time including the fileserver as well. from what i know, and that isn't much really, i figure that i'd need to use threads and i read the thread tutorial and i know how to use them now but it doesn't really answer whether or not what i'm trying to do is possible. can someone jsut confirm that what i'm doing is possible.....with threads or with something else?
