P0w3rK!d has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Have any of my fellow monks broken the code of silence to use Perl .NET? If so, please tell us what you've found! I recently installed .NET and I am anxious to get Perl integrated in with it. Active State has a dev kit for it, but there is no evaluation version. If you've used that, please let us know! :)

I've programmed with perl.net, and you can read my comments here

Simon Cozens wrote an article about .NET over on perl.com that you might want to read.

That article is really just a fluff piece. If you know nothing about .NET, and don't really want to program with .NET (read CIO), it may be an interesting read. But if you have even looked at .NET anywhere else, or want to program with .NET, there is little to be gained by reading that article.

Of course this is my view, and you are welcome to disagree.
