This is my first attempt at perl poetry, so go easy... : )

Hats off to Katgirl's submission for the inspiration. Toughest part was trying to find a song to work with.

use CGI; print "Content-type: text/html\n\n"; print "eval{<bites>$routine 'hard'</bites> && $ambitions = 'low' && $resentments = 'high' && !($emotions ne $grow)}"; @ways = map($changing, @roads); &love($love); &love($love); sleep(eval{open STDOUT, 'you cry'}); print "<b>my $failings<b>\n"; my $mouth =~ m/taste/ig; $desperation = $hold; undef &something_so_good; &love($love); &love; &love; &love; sub love{ $us = shift; split/apart again/,$us; } sub something_so_good{ }

Some people fall from grace. I prefer a running start...

    There have many covers of this song that absolutly reeeeeek.. ..... (The Cure and Grace Jones in particular should go run and hide in shame) but your version stands proud, stark, sincere and beautiful
