i cannot comment much on Spreadsheet::WriteExcel, i've only used it twice, both times running sample code i got here at perlmonks.org.

however, i must take a moment to comment on your posts. you've posted questions to the perl news section more than once. this one, plus excel formula, and Need help installing Spreadsheet::WriteExcel (was Spreadsheet::WriteExcel). these questions belong in the seekers of perl wisdom section. please post there in the future.

also, you should learn how to post better questions. you'll get better answers that way. for instance, include sample code. use <code> tags and <p> markers. there are some good tutorials on how to post questions here: a recent one is How do I post a question effectively?. i think you'll be able to get more from the monastary if you learn the rules.
