This is one of those questions you get in a job interview and you sit there thinking:
hmmm, this is an easy question hmmm, there must be an obvious answer why the hell don't I know it?! this is embarrassing
But anyway, I just required the full path of a file and realized I did not know how to get it! And it is not one of the File::Stat methods. Nor did it seem to be part of File::Spec. In fact after looking thru search.cpan.org, I did not anything to help me.

So I turn to my monestary brethren in need of a quicksol.
