Thank you. Does the "etc" include overwriting the file from within Perl, appending to the file or overwriting it by FTP? I appreciate you sharing your knowledge - even when you are repeating my original question.	[reply]

Does the "etc" include overwriting the file from within Perl, appending to the file or overwriting it by FTP? Etc includes everything that changes inode information.
