In fact, this is not a perl problem, but a RPM problem. From the output you submitted, we find

So you need to provides the package perl-modules. But your problem is that there only exists such a rpm in the PLD Linux Distribution, which is not your distribution... You probably tried to install a package that do not correspond to your distribution... RPM is a pain.

If you want to avoid problem, I strongly advice you to install this module from CPAN
