Ya.. PHP quite handy .. if you need only simple embedded page.. A complex embedded page is pointless .. However, if you r an experienced perl programmer, you will also find that to create your own simple embedded page and parse it is quite easy and enjoyable .. and maybe even faster (with mod_perl) depending what you like it be.
