As a nice alternative to XSLT (which I find mostly incomprehensible), you might consider Template Toolkit's XML parsing tools, which can parse the XML and then walk through the nodes at your choosing, filling information into templates.

    I've been hearing this more and more. For a long time I wondered if it was just me. It seemed like such a great idea.
