maverick_jt has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

How can I read NIC configuration on a remote Windows NT4/2000 server. I am looking for info like NIC mode 10/100, half/full Duplex or if it's set to hardware default.

Can anyone assist?

    Dave Roth's site has a script that probably does what you are looking for. If not, it may point you to the registry location that contains the info.
