in reply to Voting booth results available before voting?

Interesting idea but one I completely disagree with in this context. I want to be able to look at past polls without affecting their outcome, and I'm fairly sure many anonymous monks would like to be able to check the results of current polls too.

Lots of other ideas jumping through my head but I'm going to let the other half of my mind convince myself that this not to rise to the challenge ;)

You could be able to look at past polls, even if you never voted. But you could not look at the present poll, untill you have voted in it. That was my idea. Honestly I don't think that Monks completely base their opinions on others that have allready voted. But I've heard people say that they feel that they have voted for the wrong candidate, if their candidate looses an election.
