hiseldl has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have been using Perl for several years, and Perl/Tk for about a year now. In the course of using pTk, I have found there to be two major shortcomings,

  1. lack of a good HTML widget, and
  2. lack of a scintilla widget.

Does anyone know of any ports of the scintilla edit widget to Perl/Tk?

Are there any pTk users out there that would like to see scintilla ported to pTk?
