Switch and private subs from Text::Balanced

kabel has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

i noticed this only because of a warning every time i used that package. more generally speaking: could this be interpreted that the interface of Text::Balanced needs a redesign?

I've noticed some bizarre conflicts when using text balanced and switch. As much as I love the concept, I'm waiting for Perl 6 before using some of TheDamian's blacker magicks. Perhaps you should drop him a note with the code?	[reply]

i tried to contact him via mail but got no answer yet. fortunately i needn't use Text::Balanced right now. i'm looking forward to the interface property.	[reply]
