What exactly do you mean here by "video"? A generic canvas widget to draw on? Do you want to paint bitmaps? Is it actually a widget to replay a video sequence? Or something entirely else? The reference to a HTML page with Wx confuses me.
i guess i'm kinda looking for a "media player control" like widget. i simply have to play a video-file inside my Tk-app.
i was wondering about that html-thing, because if there's something like a "mozilla html viewer"/"gecko" widget flying around, i could use mozilla's plugins to play that video, which would seriously rock because of its portability.
i actually read thru that TPJ article mentioned above before posting, but i don't see how that could help me with simply playing a local video-file.
hope somebody can help (i really, really don't want to do this thing in VisBas)
