I always have Netscape 3 around for testing my pages. It is a lot more difficult, but I'm sure they will display anywhere. Testing in Lynx is a good idea, too.

That reminds me of something Jamie Zawinski wrote about web design. Each time I read it I go "Yay jwz!". In his own words: " Too-clever-by-half sites that don't work at all. Usually these sites come up with a completely blank page, and if I do ``View Source,'' I can see the nature of their evil. [...] But that's just fine -- because sites that do this invariably ALSO DON'T HAVE ANY CONTENT ON THEM."
