Courage has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Are there exist anyone who dealed with Trados files (via Perl of course) for language translations and could share experience on this?

I do not mean exactly code snippets (I can share my own BTW) rather some kind of precautions and points to possible sleepy places would be very welcomed.
