Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Monks Can you please point to me a place from where I can get the instructions about how to upgrade perl higher versions? (I am running Mandrake Linux)I would like to get a step by step approach to this, as I am new to upgrading softwares. Thanks Kris

      What blakem said. If you don't want to go all of the way to 5.8 yet, installing a 5.6.1 RPM is pretty straightforward, at least on Red Hat.
