RE: Is garbage collection the end?

This made my day. It is simple, yet DEEPLY profound. What is self? How do you define YOURSELF? Is that possible? How can something define itself if it has never been defined in the first place? Once the self exists, can it ever cease to exist, or become any less defined?
Can foo dictate the existence of foo? If foo undefines itself, it was never there to undefine itself in the beginning.

As I trip along the path to enlightenment I gather bits and pieces of wisdom to help me along the way.
I must say that this observation has helped in numerous ways of which I won't bother you with details. I will be passing this wisdom along to others that happen to be on a quest similar to mine. Thank you redmist

Sorry, I'm a nitpicker.
Guess it's my INTP personality.
OO Koan:
if( $forest{trees}[rand]->falls() and not $one->hears() ) {
/sound/ ? true : false;
}

I've been thinking and the Kloan should read:
"...no one is there to hear it" So:
if( $forest{trees}rand->falls()
and !defined($forest{people})
{
$_ =~ /sound/ ? true : false;
}
