In all seriousness, I have gotten into a certain habit when making long posts. After everything is all nicely typed in, I highlight the entire text area, copy it to the clipboard, and in the case of a Windows machine, open Notepad and paste it in there. Too many times I've had posts cut off because I didn't put a CR/LF every few hundred characters, or I've had IE just *close* when I hit the submit button. And of course, with Netscape, you just never know when it's gonna go out to lunch.

For shorter posts, like this one, I usually just copy it to the clipboard.

    This is a very good idea. Even though I don't make super long posts, I still make some spelling and grammar mistakes because of the fact that the text goes out of the box when I type it in, so I think that I will write it in gEdit and then post and then I might actually make sense.
