I agree, Vek has a point...
It makes a big difference if you're in a large centralised company where everyone has the same job, more or less. Or you're in a small, relatively independent department.

I'm with a company of slightly over 200 emps, however, most of these are callcenter and ops people, while in my department we are with only 12 developers. So yes, I really should have voted for the second option methinks!
