in thread When would you use functional programming?

I learned about the book while the iterators chapter was online. Has it /ehem/ iterated past that by now?

__SIG__ printf "You are here %08x\n", unpack "L!", unpack "P4", pack "L!", B::svref_2object(sub{})->OUTSIDE;

    Nope, as far as I'm aware there hasn't been anything since the iterators chapter (5?). I think I'm subscribed to an announce mailing list for the PATH book but I haven't seen anything on it.

      Too bad! Right now all my base is belong to Network Solutions so my e-mail is down. I didn't know if I'd just missed an update or not. I am so anticipating that book.

        Thanks for all your kind words. Chapter V is almost done---it was almost done this summer, and then I moved house. But it should be done soon. Chapter VI is well under way. My editor and I have agreed that my draft deadline will be at the end of February. So I expect some major progress in the next couple of months.

        Sorry for the long delay. Some of the delays were logistical (moving and illness) and some were because it's a hard book to write and I am making it absolutely as good as I possibly can, and that takes time.

        Thanks again for your interest.
