in reply to Nobody runs programs?

From the error msg, it looks like it's trying to open up an X-Window of some kind - or maybe just checking that it's able to. I can't say that I know Star Office but is there a command line option that could stop that?

But today you took me walking, Through a land that we have lost,
While our children sit at websites, With no access to the cost

I think you're right it, it's definitly doing something with the display. I don't know (nor does anyone else) know of anyway to configure the way Star Office6 handles macros from the command line.

So does anyone know a way of making Star Office6 "think" it has access to an X-Window?

    Thanks all
