More management than technical at this point, I still ride Cisco IOS much of the time. I'm really into regular expressions and context-free grammar, but I don't get much of a chance to apply it. I have a unique opportunity right now to hone some perl skills on a couple of projects: - I'd like to marry bayesian filtering with an open proxy list and possibly an internet map to see if I could determine "vectors" of open proxy, read bad, network traffic. From there, one might be able to sanitize traffic from some choke points, or at least deprioritize it. - I've got a list as long as my career of annoying network support duties and respective tricks that should be scripted into a consistent web interface. Someday, baby. *sigh*
