    KM, you may be an old hand at perl and #perl, but you are new to this site. It might be wise to listen a bit more before speaking up so agressively.

    Yes, this site is all about perl, but it does have a part in the perl community. While Seekers of Perl Wisdom, Meditations, Craft and other sections might be useful for posting (and talking about) perl, Perl Monks Discussion is reserved for discussing the site itself. In my understanding, that includes the behavior of the monks that roam the monastery. Other posts discussing the behavior of monks have been posted in the past, and I, for one, beleive that they come in handy when shaping the community that we all are building.

    Yes, certain discussions should be kept private, but the way monks act towards each other is something I definitly find worth talking about.

    I think Aighearach is referring to the latest change in neshura's page, which suggests she's fed up of the "jokes" from some of the monks. I also think it would be a great loss to our community if neshura stopped participating just because she doesn't feel comfortable around here.
