    Seriously though, I loved the mixing in of mots in english, perl, and french. And I think this (poetry using perl, but not IN perl) is probably original! At least, I haven't seen anything like it around. Loved the s/nous/new/ too! Clever use of phonetics! And to top if off, centering it makes it look all the more..humm.. holy? :)

    Would a multi-lingual Monk post an english translation for the benefit of the (hopefully not too) ugly Americans among us ? :^P BabelFish does enough to enjoy the humor, but I suspect there are subtleties that don't survive it's rough translation.

    Update: gaggio tells me that much of the humor would be lost in a literal translation. Phonetic puns and such. Ahh, the folly of monoculturalism ;^P
