in reply to Computer Education in Public Schools
Please, don't force feed us kids computer science at an early age. As a 14 month old I ask you to let us enjoy our stuffed animals, play ball, exercice, read books, later on we will have time for programing, getting involved in the community, defending our freedom, being serious people and finally become King of the World.
More seriously, there is plenty of time in life for learning computers, the most important for us kids is certainly not learning technical skills that will be obsolete by the time we start looking for a job. Creativity, for one. If you want to put me in front of a keyboard, please let it be a full of black and white keys.
