You're also not very clear in stating your environment: "linux 8.0". You are probably referring to the version number of your distribution. The biggest distro that recently reached an 8.0 version is Red Hat, so I'm assuming that's what you're using. Check out your system documentation for help on this. Hint: look for the commands rpm, urpmi or look for an icon or menu item about "RPM" or "Install software" or something (I'm not on a RedHat system myself, so I can't check more thoroughly).
