    There are a lot of thing worse than getting SPAMMED.

    That's correct. It's also correct that there are worse things than getting hit by tomatoes, right? But would you take a job standing in a shopping mall hitting bypassers with tomatoes?

    Spam is...

    • really annoying
    • a waste of time finding out 10 important mails in between 90 spam mails
    • getting all kinds of online businesses (decent ones too) into bad reputation as people are getting annoyed
    • a danger for mails that are not spam, as they might get lost when deleted by anti-spam software
    • (and so on)

    To the original poster: keeping the job and sabotaging your boss is no good idea in my opinion. How can you successfully work when your goals are contradictory?
