compiling perlmagick on an IBM zSeries

Sihal has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Fellow monks,
Im trying to run Image::Magick on an IBM zSeries (zMOST 2) , you know, the mainframe stuff.
Well, my sysadmin wasnt able to compile it properly... I don't know the details but, id like to know if anybody ever managed to run it on this kind of platform

I seem to have a problem anytime I install Image::Magick. I've never got it to work by using CPAN. There's many required libraries that need to be installed on the system. (I've run into issues with littecms in particular in later builds.). Without any info, it's not really possible to suggest a solution. -Lee "To be civilized is to deny one's nature."	[reply]
