Hmmm, isn't there an Eliza module on CPAN somewhere? Putting that together with milkbone would be a very cool use for perl, especially if it could make my boss think I'm still at my desk...

`Chatbot::Eliza` is the module you speak of. You can combine Net::Aim and Chatbot::Eliza to get a fairly good robot. See (AOL bot) Confuse the heck out of everyone you know! and http://www.newrisedesigns.com/robots for what I've done with my robots.
