are you sure you don't mean

$fullname = $dir . '\\' . $file;

I've already added a \ after dir using this statement if one does not exist.... `unless($dirname =~ /\\$/){ $dirname .= "\\"; }` [download] so by doing `$fullname = $dir.$file."\\";` [download] I just continue to build the path to the file with the trailing '\'	[reply] [d/l] [select]
