Save as Peas with no extension.

mmm("porridge"); sub mmm { for ("hot,", "cold,", "in the pot,") { print "$0 $_[0] $_$/"; } print "nine days old.$/"; }

It displays the nursery rhyme we are all familiar with.

I wasn't going for obfuscation so that is why I put this in poetry.

    Joining the ideas of Mr. Muskrat and fredopalus...

    #!/usr/bin/perl mmm("$0 porridge"); mmm("Some like it"); sub mmm { for ("hot,", "cold,", "in the pot,") { print "$_[0] $_$/"; } print "nine days old.$/$/"; }

    And to finish it...
    print "some like it hot,\n some like it cold,\n some like it in the po +t nine days old";
    Update: The whole rhyme:
    Peas porridge hot,
    Peas porridge cold,
    Peas porridge in the pot
    Nine days old.

    Some like it hot,
    Some like it cold,
    Some like it in the pot
    Nine days old.
