in reply to a pm.org for the C++ community

I'm not sure how well this would work given that Perl has had a solid community pretty much from the start, from what I've read. I wasn't there (actually I don't think I was born) so I can't vouch for that myself. I don't know that CMonks could create the same sense of community that PerlMonks has. But don't let me discourage you; I would be happy if you proved me wrong.

I don't doubt the strength of the Perl community, but I'm sure that there are plenty of C++ developers who could certainly benefit from such a site. If I can get enough support, I'd certainly be willing to put in my time and efforts towards getting the site up and running.

It's up to the C/C++ community after that to make it as valuable as pm.org.
