This gal/guy has not been here for 90 weeks and has one post to their name on 2001-2-13. There was some discussion about what to do with expired nics if someone really wanted it a while back. Can't recall that anything came of it. Perhaps petition the editors. Perhaps consider using TheLucidMatrix. We have TheDamian here for instance, and yes he is the really well know Perl Guru Damian not this Perlmonks Damian but his nic taken when he arrived.

Yes, but Damian Conway has been known as "The Damian" for quite some time in the Perl community, so TheDamian makes sense for him; it wasn't simply a matter of Damian not being available.
