Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'm still a newbie looking for working examples of how to connect to a FoxPro table using Win32::ODBC. I've been using Win32::ODBC successfully with Access but I now need to query on a FoxPro table. I've tried to do my homework but cannot find much documentation on the subject. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Much Thanks in advance, sean

Using ODBC, there isn't much (if any ?) difference to Access, just specify a DSN to the directory where the FoxPro tables reside. There is a link in Win32::ODBC.pm to http://www.roth.net/perl/odbc/faq/ which has lots of information including how to create the DSN entries

Got it. I needed to download a new FoxPro driver. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it. sean
