Dru has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Monks,

I'm looking for a module to map network drives within Win2k. I did a search on perlmonks and found this Mapping a network drive. I then try to download Win32::FileOp via PPM, and it did not show up in a search. I checked Activestate's PPM repository: here and they say there is not a ppm package for it. I also found Win32::Netresource package, but couldn't find a ppm package for that either. Am I missing something? I know I can just use the net use command, but I would think there is a module available for this.

Thanks,
Dru

    Dru,

Try this site: http://jenda.krynicky.cz . Lotsa hard to find Win32 modules including Win32::FileOp. Just set your repository to http://Jenda.Krynicky.cz/perl and install. The instructions are on the site.
